These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of eyjtechnologies.com, its admin dashboard, and our license verification API (together, the "Services"), operated by EYJ Technologies ("EYJ", "we", "us", or "our"), based in Kaduna State, Nigeria. By using our Services, you agree to these Terms.

1. About EYJ Technologies

EYJ Technologies designs and builds web applications, mobile apps, and enterprise systems — including school management software, CBT exam systems, and custom websites — for schools, businesses, and organisations. Specific project scope, pricing, timelines, and deliverables for any development work are agreed separately in a signed proposal or contract, which takes precedence over these Terms for that engagement.

2. Use of This Website

You agree to use this website only for lawful purposes. You may not:

• Submit false, misleading, or malicious information through our contact form
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our admin dashboard, license API, or any other restricted part of our systems
• Interfere with or disrupt the website, its security features, or its normal operation
• Use automated tools to scrape, probe, or overload the website or API without our written permission

3. License Keys & the License API

If your organisation is issued a license key for our software, the following apply:

• A license key is tied to a single device once activated. It cannot be transferred to another device without our approval (we can unbind it on request).
• You may not attempt to reverse-engineer, circumvent, share, or resell a license key or the activation/verification mechanism.
• We may suspend, revoke, or refuse to renew a license for non-payment, breach of these Terms, or misuse.
• API access keys used by your software to call our license API must be kept confidential. You're responsible for safeguarding them within your own product.
• Software delivered purely as an online/hosted service does not use a license key and is governed instead by the access terms of that specific service.

4. Intellectual Property

The content, design, and branding of this website — including our name, logo, and site content — belong to EYJ Technologies and may not be copied or reused without permission. Ownership of software we build for a specific client or partner is governed by that project's individual agreement, not by these general Terms.

5. Third-Party Links

Our site links to third-party platforms, including our social media pages. We aren't responsible for the content, policies, or practices of any third-party site you reach from a link on ours.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

This website and its content are provided "as is." While we work to keep information accurate and our systems reliable, we don't guarantee the website, dashboard, or license API will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for any particular purpose beyond what's separately agreed for a specific project.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, EYJ Technologies is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of this website or the license API, including downtime, data loss, or a license failing to activate or verify, except where that liability arises from a separately signed service agreement.

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify EYJ Technologies against any claims, losses, or damages arising from your misuse of this website, the license API, or a license key issued to you.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Kaduna State, Nigeria.

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent changes. Continued use of our Services after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
