Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 16, 2026

Note for the site owner: this is a plain-language starting point based on what this website and its admin dashboard actually do. It isn't legal advice — have a qualified lawyer review it before you rely on it, especially once you're handling real client or partner data.

EYJ Technologies ("EYJ", "we", "us", or "our") respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect through eyjtechnologies.com and our related systems, why we collect it, and how it's protected.

1. Information We Collect

a. Information you give us directly

When you use our contact form, we collect your first and last name, email address, company name (if provided), and the message you send us. We use this only to respond to your enquiry.

b. Partner information

If your organisation becomes a partner or client, we keep a record of your organisation's name, logo, website, and any contact email or phone number you give us, so we can manage the relationship and, where applicable, issue and support your software license.

c. License activation data

If you use software from us that requires a license key, that software communicates with our license server to activate and verify the key. In doing so we receive and store: the license key, a device fingerprint (a non-personal identifier your software generates for its own device), the institution/organisation name associated with the license, and the IP address and timestamp of each activation or verification request. This data is used solely to confirm a license is valid, prevent unauthorised copying, and provide support if something goes wrong.

d. Automatically collected information

Like most websites, our server automatically logs basic technical information (such as IP address and request timestamps) for security and troubleshooting purposes.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • To respond to messages sent through our contact form
  • To manage our relationship with partners and clients
  • To activate, verify, and support licensed software
  • To maintain the security and proper functioning of our website, dashboard, and license API
  • To meet legal or regulatory obligations, where applicable

We do not use your information for advertising, and we do not sell or rent your personal information to third parties.

3. How We Share Information

We don't share your information with third parties except:

  • With service providers who help us run our infrastructure (for example, our web host or database provider), under obligations to keep it confidential
  • If required by law, court order, or governmental request
  • With your consent, or as otherwise disclosed to you at the point of collection

4. Data Security

Admin dashboard passwords are stored using industry-standard one-way hashing (bcrypt) and are never stored or visible in plain text. Access to partner records, license data, and contact messages is restricted to authorised administrators. All API requests to activate or verify a license key require a private API key, and every request is logged for auditing. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect the information we hold.

5. Data Retention

We keep contact-form messages, partner records, and license data for as long as reasonably necessary to provide our services, maintain accurate business records, and meet legal obligations. You can request deletion of information that isn't otherwise required for these purposes — see "Your Rights" below.

6. Your Rights

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you or your organisation by emailing us at contact@eyjtechnologies.com. We'll respond within a reasonable time.

7. Cookies

Our public website does not use advertising or tracking cookies. The admin dashboard sets a single session cookie so an administrator stays logged in — this is essential to the dashboard working and isn't used for tracking.

8. Children's Privacy

Our website and services are intended for businesses, schools, and organisations, not for children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

9. Third-Party Links

Our site links to our social media pages (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube). Those platforms have their own privacy policies, which we encourage you to review — we aren't responsible for their practices.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect the most recent changes.

11. Contact Us

Questions about this policy or your data can be sent to support@eyjtechnologies.com or +234 706 964 2800.
